Dom is a man who knows what he likes: alternative culture from music to street art, from photography to contemporary art... he will give you the keys to appreciating things we usually don’t even see!

Some resources can’t necessarily be found in guidebooks. That is why I wanted to be your Greeter: to give you an alternative view of the city of Mulhouse.

As a news photographer for the regional daily press for some fifteen years, my job gives me an up-close understanding of the area I’ve chosen to live in: Mulhouse and its region. Passionate about sound and images, I find a certain balance between an exciting job, a strong network of relationships and a geographical location open to Basle and Freiburg (30 min), as well as Paris (3 hrs).

Mulhouse is a lively city that is full of surprises. I want to share hot spots, good restaurants, amazing or just interesting sites that are characteristic of the city and the surrounding area. I also want to offer alternative visits – whether urban or bucolic – to visitors just passing through. I am an Epicurean with artistic and cultural affinities in the widest sense of the term. From the Italian-style theatre on rue de la Sinne to the banks of the Ill and their graffiti, I can give you tips for a fun stay...

PS: I have a mother tongue that I don’t speak very well – Portuguese – but I would be delighted to use it more.
