Originally from Bordeaux, Julia arrived in Alsace only a few months ago. She was surprised to discover such a wonderful place, though it was not at all what she was expecting!

Let me propose a stroll through the heart of Mulhouse; it’s old ramparts, residential and industrial pockets, it’s markets, shops and hidden alleyways. And to discover the cities interior, what better way than by enjoying a delicious pastry, a glass of Riesling, or even a traditional meal, in Mulhouse or perhaps along the picturesque Route of Wines. If you prefer, I can bring you to the border; Switzerland and Germany are just next door, Mulhouse is a true cultural intersection. For the more cautious, or those who love paintings and sculpture, why not a trip to the Art Museum? Whether you be curious, a gourmand, or a wanderer, it would be my pleasure to share with you this unique region -- one that I have only known for a few months myself, but has charmed me entirely.
