Charles SEVERIN

Charles, a young couchsurfer, is a real city dweller. He likes to meet travellers from around the world and would like to take them to events in the city or show them places that only Mulhousians know.

I am a young Mulhousian who is inquisitive and open to the world. I like to learn and discover new places and to meet new people when I travel.

I also like to meet and accommodate visitors (I currently do this through the Couchsurfing site). Travel is a passion for me, and even more – a way of life!

I am a natural born city dweller and have always enjoyed wandering around cities.
Among the centres of interest in Mulhouse, there is art in the many exhibits and cultural events such as “Tranche de Quai”, music with concerts at Le Noumatrouff, our industrial heritage and ecological projects – visit the "Quartier écolo" (green neighbourhood), allotment gardens and former factories.

I also like the city’s history and its unique industrial past, but as a young person, I am happy to see the renewal of Mulhouse with many renovation projects at "Le Nouveaux Bassin" and "La Fonderie". Lastly, I love being able to enjoy city-events and local scene entertainment all year long.

I would be delighted to take visitors to these events, share my view of the city with them, or just have a drink and why not a flammekueche (tarte flambée) after a walk around our beautiful city.
